A "long stay" is an English course lasting more than 2 months
Improving English is always possible, becoming bilingual too. It all depends on the duration of your study stay in Malta
For years now, InMalta is specialized in consulting for participants aged 18 to 35 who wish to spend more than 8 weeks abroad. A "long stay", which means spending 2 to 12 months in Malta, is an experience of life and study and allows students to recover the linguistic "gap" of Italian high schools and universities.
In 12 months you will become bilingual
It is an important commitment, both economic and of life. But you have studied in your country for over 10 years, adding 1 year abroad to your training, your job opportunities will increase tenfold. You will grow professionally, personally, you will speak and think in English, you will meet young people from all over the world. If your economic possibilities allow it or if your parents are willing to invest in you, this is the right time to leave. Come to Malta for 12 months.
In 6 months you will change life
It is a beautiful, formative experience and it will change your life. Half a year in Malta, with the idea of returning is an exciting adventure that will take you to study, improve your English, get to know kids from all over the world. You will discover the Maltese culture, but also that of new friends. You will lose the embarrassment in speaking English, you will be able to have complete autonomy in expressing yourself, in understanding. Many of our students choose a six-month study experience. If your economic possibilities allow it or if your parents are willing to invest in you, this is the right time to leave. Come to Malta for 6 months.
In 5 months you will think in English.
What if we told you that you could think in English? This is what happens to many of our Italian students who have been living in Malta for over 4 months. In fact if you decide to stay here in Malta for about 5 months, it will be so set and so "immersed" in English that surfing a site in your language will be almost an effort. You will return back home and you will realize that thinking in English is easier. English will be part of you for a lifetime. If your economic possibilities allow it or if your parents are willing to invest in you, this is the right time to leave. Come to Malta for 5 months.
In 4 months your home will be the world
Four months in Malta are a good period. At the end of high school, after university or simply in a period in which you do not have a job. Your level of English will improve a lot and you will realize you are a citizen of the world. You will like to speak in English, listen, make new friends and acquaintances with students from all over the world. You will feel important when you will explain something or talk to students who have just arrived in Malta who have difficulty in speaking or understanding English. You will return back home and you will want to leave again. Come to Malta for 4 months.
In 3 months autonomy will be your strength.
Many of our students tell us that after 12 weeks of training in Malta they are truly autonomous, they feel confident. Living abroad for 3 months is a life experience that, combined with the study, forms the character of a person. At the beginning you will discover your weaknesses, after a few weeks you will live intensely the experience. You will study in the morning or in the afternoon, you will have half a day free every day. It is the minimum time to improve your English and prepare to face any type of situation, interview, interaction that requires fluent knowledge of English. Come to Malta for 3 months.
In 2 months you will improve your English
It is the minimum time we recommend to improve your English. A shorter time only serves to "go over" to "resume". It is the right time to move on to a level of subsequent knowledge, a period of learning and discovery. Initially, everything will seem strange, but after a few weeks you will have settled here in Malta. You will study in the morning at school and in the afternoon you will have free time to get to know, to discover Malta, to make friends. You will also be able to decide to amortize expenses and find some small chores in the afternoon or evening. Two months are a "taste" and they will fly, but they will leave their mark and allow you to improve the knowledge of your English. Come to Malta for 2 months.
