AM Language Studio is close to all the services, this was a great convenience because staying in Malta for six months I needed to do daily shopping at the supermarket, go to the bank and to the post office. On teaching I have to say that all the teachers were very prepared, I think I will return to Malta and do another experience.

The school is one of the best you can find in Sliema, in my opinion it has a good value for money, it’s not among the economical ones but not even among the very expensive ones. There is no tuition fee so if you spend a week you will pay a little less, I have been in Malta for three weeks but not consecutive: one week in August, one week in September, one week in October, unfortunately my job did not allow me to make one single long period: in a school with an inscription fee I would have spent more money unnecessarily because I would have paid a fee for each week.

Global Village is in San Pauls Bay, it’s not small or big , just the right size, I've known so many people, I would recommend this experience, the school is, perhaps, one of the best in quiet areas in Malta, it is two minutes from the sea though there are only rocks nearby, for the nearest beach you need to take a bus, I didn’t expect this. However, the beach is one of the most beautiful in Malta and 15 minutes from GV Malta.

I attended the GV English School in Malta for four months, an exceptional school, it’s my second time I come to Malta. For those who really need to learn English and practice it, I think they can’t choose a better school then Global Village. In the spring they organize a few excursions, perhaps because Global Village does not have many participants or perhaps because most GV Malta members are adults, engaged or families and prefer going to Malta alone. During my stay in Malta from March to April I attended only to five or six school excursions because the school, often, didn’t reach the minimum number necessary for the excursion so I often joined other excursions. I called InMalta and they gave me the number of a tour operator who organizes excursions for all the schools in Malta.

It’s an adult school, for families, but above all, GV Malta is the school for those who really want to study. I accompanied my class, a senior college, at Global Village last May. The experience was positive for everyone, maybe not particularly suitable for kids, but they all did a wonderful job. In GV English Centers they organized a closed group for us, came to pick us up at the airport by bus, we did activities, excursions and I knew Malta. Excellent school and prepared teachers. ClubClass in Malta is not in the center town of San Julians but at a 10/15 minute walk, in a quiet area. This conciliates the study since there are no special distractions nearby. I've been studying in ClubClass almost 2 months and I think I'll be back. ClubClass is the only Malta school that has a gym and a swimming pool totally free and since the school is right inside the residence, right after lessons you can go to the gym, have a walk, take a bath, take a sunbath or go and relax in your room. I've been to ClubClass for 2 weeks, I found it very well but it has a high tuition fee of 80 Euro added to the cost of the 2 week course. I think it's convenient for those who stay for a long time, but if you stay just one week there are cheaper schools. The pool is really nice.

After 3 months at the Club Class I can definitely say it was a great choice. The price is low because, more weeks you do, less you pay. The professors are prepared and qualified, but it’s the whole organization that works very well. The residence has a canteen next to it and you can easily concentrate because it’s in a quiet area, even if you are 10 minutes from Paceville and the movida. Good valutation for everything, a little less for the lodgings, small and not particularly well cared for.

I chose this school because the reviews were good and especially because I wanted to stay in a residence or a campus, I didn’t want to have the accommodation far from school and wanted to have all together. ClubClass has the residence apartments right around the pool, above the school. This allows students to socialize a lot, often in the evening we used to have a barbeque or just stay by the pool and it was nice because we kept talking in English.

Bels in Malta is a small but beautiful school. I attended a 3 week course and my teacher was the Director. It’s an adult school that, despite the small size, seemed really professional to me. The atmosphere is very familiar, beyond the three classes there is a small dining area. Positive.

Attending the Bels School in Gozo has been a fantastic experience and definitely to be repeated. The school is in the countryside, at first I was a bit skeptical, but I decided. I live in Hamburg and getting away from traffic and smog was what I was looking for. You go to school by bike, there is a lot of silence outside and it's all immersed in the nature. Next to the school there’s also a small swimming pool and, even if it’s not owned by the school, students have the permission to use it. I stayed 15 days at a family in a single room, the bicycle is offered by the family!

Instead of choosing the schools that everybody chooses, those of St. Julians, we decided to choose a school far from the confusion. In the afternoon we attended all the recreational activities which however were all with extra payment. The certificate was sent to us home.

It’s uncomfortable to reach by walk, even because it’s not in the plain and if you go out in the evening and you need to walk back to the residence, because no buses are available at night, it’s quite difficult. The courses are good and the Sammut family, owner of the school, is very kind. Nice residence, with a small canteen but it does not work in the evening so we had to arrange something. Professional courses and classrooms with interactive whiteboards and air conditioning. Recommended.

The lessons were interesting and the teachers were really good! The atmosphere was nice! The organisation before hand was good, but not in that certain week. When I started at Monday, it was very chaotic at the office. For Business English, people with different language levels were put together in a group, but that didn't make sense. There could be a big difference between someone who is just B1 and someone who is almost C1 which I didn't like. I also tried to explain that during the course, but there was no other way.

The ELA School was kind. I did not know any other method to learn English. I think there are other methods to learn English.Personally, 40 hours was too much. We finished at 16 to 15h in the afternoon, which is quite late to do anything after.The most interesting, in my opinion, maybe, is 20h or 30h, and the last session to be “one to one” – a mixed method.
The materials used were usually photocopies, except for one book, which we didn’t use.I have improved my English, but not a lot. I need more conversation, an environment of real English, and more time!

The atmosphere is familiar, even for younger people. The fact that everything is inside the campus makes this school ideal if you want to know people, because the accommodation, the canteen and the courses are all in the same place, so it's practically impossible not to make friends. It's a very economical school, but of good quality. I've been to Link School for three months, indeed for 17 weeks of General English and so, although I've been very busy, I've improved my English. If, however, after school, you speak in Russian with friends and companions, you will not obtain much. Ask to stay with people from other nations and better yet, do not go to school with Italian friends.

I did not have much money to attend an English course in Malta, among the cheaper schools and with better price-quality ratio, I chose Link School of English which is of good quality and part of the Feltom. It was also a good choice to stay in a family although their house was a bit distant and, with the summer heat, it was difficult to make my way from school to home. However apart from this, I would recommend this school to those who do not have much money.

Link helped me a lot to improve English pronunciation, I have good grammar basics but it is difficult to talk. During my one-month course I did several lessons. The school is in Swieqi, a small town 10 minutes walk from St. Julian's, Paceville and the Malta Movida. Not far away there is also a beach, it is a school to consider. Link School organizes many afternoon activities, attending a one-week course was fun, I'm 16 and I will be going back to this school next year and hopefully also when I'm 18, but alone. For now I have been able to attend the junior course that includes the presence of a tour leader. Sometimes this is a little boring because we can't do much if not organized by the tour leader. We stayed in a hotel in Bugibba, but the school organized daily bus transfers with the group.

Link School of English is the school I chose to attend: it was a great choice as the school has a fair price even in high season. Teachers are prepared and the school is part of the Feltom, even though I didn’t understand what the criterion was. There are many schools in Malta but I am convinced that this is a good quality school with adequate facilities. The school doesn’t have a residence, so if you get proposed a hotel don’t accept, it is best to stay in families contracted by school or in apartments.

I have attended a one-month general English course at Alpha School in St. Pauls, the school is quite decentralized to all the others, but it is 5 minutes from one of the major bus stops in St. Paul's Bay. The building that hosts the school is old and poorly set, however the courses are good. During the time I attended, there were a lot of children at school, even though my classroom was composed of adults.

Surely you can find better at this price but considering the location, just a short distance from Bugibba, I decided to spend 15 days in this school. I only chose the course, while for the accommodation I rented a room in the apartment near the school. The course was good, I improved a bit my English. I did not find any Italian during my course, this was a good thing. Pity for the location. However it made me comfortable because I had found a summer job at Bugibba and it's just 10 minutes away.

Regarding the course in general, it was good, and I considered it as a step to improve my English skills. As for the class, it was a room with some chairs and a board, so we took time to arrange our setting.
The teachers were who I most liked. They were eager to teach us. Moreover, they had very good communication between themselves and the students.The school location was good because it was reachable for the students, but it was located in a residential area so could hear people from the class window. I can not evaluate the school facilities and activities as I did not use them.
The housing was okay, but we had to pay for the Internet. I paid for one week but I couldn't get Internet connection in my room!

I attended 3 weeks of course since I had obtained an university scholarship and Malta University School is part of the University of Malta which has a convention with the Italian universities. The teachers’ preparation is good, but compared to other schools, it’s less competitive, this is my opinion. The good thing is that the attestations are validated by the University of Malta.

I was in ICTQ in Malta with my family last summer, the place was a real surprise. They spoke to me about the areas north of Malta but I did not think they were so beautiful and quiet, even in the high season. I stayed at Maritim, a hotel right in front of the school, for a week. Economical school especially in high season, worth the money I spent. I have chosen it especially for the comfort of the accommodation that I had found myself.
